Before reviewing this lecture on Graphology, I have never heard of it. However, it is not a shock to me that this exists only because I was always aware that there are different things that people try to study about different human actions to predict something about someone else. Graphology is a Pseudoscience used to infer something about someone's character or psychological state at the time that they are writing. This dates back to the 17th Century. Graphology is very observational because you must pay close attention to how sharp or rounded the letters are, the space patterns between each word, the way you may dot your i's and plenty more. It is even said that it takes a very skilled and trained eye to recognize whether someone is trying to trick a Graphologist by writing differently than their usual handwriting. Graphologists look closely for signs of inconsistency and other irregular patterns because of that reason as well. There is even the question of whether Graphology is admissible to use in court. Most courts have actually allowed properly qualified document examiners to testify as expert witnesses. But, before hiring an handwriting expert for court purposes, you must properly check for recent decisions from the relevant jurisdiction on this subject because it is always evolving.
