Post 2: Learning Styles

We have all heard that there are different learning styles for each individual person and they are separated into three categories.  Visual Learners need to see pictures, videos, maps, and illustrations to fully comprehend the subject while Auditory Learners take information in best by listening to recordings/lectures, hearing certain sounds, and reading a loud.  The last type which isn't as well known as the first is Kinesthetic learners who need hands-on experience such as making things themselves or learning through touch.  Though every person is different when it comes to learning new material, teachers can adapt their teaching styles to fit almost every single category so each student can learn in their own preferred method.  As we move through time teachers now have more options to give to students to further their own academic development that best suits them.
