Post #3: Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to balance the mind and body. I was a little surprised to find out that it was proven to not be different from distilled water. Both me and some of my friends have essential oil diffusers and use them frequently. In my experience, some scents like lavender and eucalyptus have helped me relax during stress. However, I agree with some of the findings that disprove that essential oils can improve your memory since I don't believe that scents can be attributed to the brain.

  1. I agree that scents aren't really linked with memory, however, I do think that a smell can help you remember where you may have smelt that scent before.
