Lucid Dreaming

Lucid dreaming is the scientifically proven ability to become conscious while dreaming, basically being able to wake up inside of your dream and control your actions. It is said that you would be able to explore your dreamworld while helping overcome personal problems such as fear or phobias. The possibilities of lucid dreaming is endless, but is it all true?

There are plenty of people that will tell you that they are able to control their dreams, I personally cant say that I can. Its interesting to think that you can possibly train your mind so that you are able to completely control your dream and let your imagination run wild.

Like I stated before, it has been scientifically proven to work. It is said that brainwaves, blood flow, and eye movement data have all validated significantly heightened awareness during the lucid dream state.

  1. Lucid dreaming fascinates me, it would be pretty amazing to be fully aware and conscious of your actions while dreaming. The possibilities are endless to what you could overcome. I really started looking into lucid dreaming after the first "Insidious" movie was released. (Great horror movie) I didn't necessarily believe the storyline because I had never heard of lucid dreaming, but it is a very real thing and only a select few individuals can perform it.
