graphology can the way you write say who you are as a person?

we learned about graphology in class and it really intrigued me because while we were learning about it i kept thinking about teacher evaluations and how they are done by hand and not computed by a computer. Through the semesters teachers get samples of our writing and many (if they assign a lot of assignments) know what our writing looks like. So my question at hand is do you think that the teacher evaluations are not anonymous.

graphology is also know as 'brainwriting' - the handwriting comes directly from the writer in a uniquely personal and individual way, irrespective of how the person has been taught to write: an expert graphologist understands the styles of the different countries and languages and makes allowances for 'taught' influences.

so with what i learned in class i went and analyzed my own style of writing.

Slant : Right slant indicates a response to communication, but not how it takes place. For example, the writer may wish to be friendly, manipulative, responsive, intrusive, to sell, to control, to be loving, supportive, just to name some possibilities.
Size Large size handwriting can mean extravert and outgoing, or it can mean that the writer puts on an act of confidence, although this behaviour might not be exhibited to strangers.
pressure Heavy pressure indicates commitment and taking things seriously, but if the pressure is excessively heavy, that writer gets very uptight at times and can react quickly to what they might see as criticism, even though none may have been intended. These writers react first and ask questions afterwards.
word spacing Wide spaces between words are saying - 'give me breathing space'.

so in conclusion it would my writing says that i am a friendly confident dreamer who likes her space. Which for some who know me fits me perfectly.

A problem that one could run into is if someone tried to vary their writing style could this change what can be determined about them? and could doing that mask who we are to teachers when it comes time for teacher evaluations.

  1. I learned about graphology a couple years back in a graphic art class. I know that my handwriting changes depending on my mood and how tired I am. Your question about teacher evals intrigue me.
