Black-Eyed Children

The Black-Eyed Children are said to appear to be children between the ages of 6-16 and usually come in pairs. Most stories surrounding the Black-Eyed Children follow the same basic structure. Someone will be home, usually alone, and hear a knock at the door. When they answer the door there will be two children waiting outside, usually claiming to be lost and needing to use the phone. Not long after, the person answering the door will begin to feel an eeriness come over them and they will notice that the children have completely black eyes. It is usually at this point that the person refuses to let the children inside, which is when one, or both, of them begin to get angry and insistent. In some of these stories, the children say that they have come to "collect" the person at the door. The stories all seem to settle on the fact that the children cannot enter a home without being invited in. When they are refused entry it is sometimes said that they remain outside, watching, for a little while before eventually vanishing. Alternate stories involve the same basic premise but with a car instead of a house. The children will show up beside a car and ask for a ride. The stories play out pretty much the same after this point.

There is a lot of speculation of what the Black-Eyed children are. Some people claim that they are human-alien hybrids while others insist that they are demons or ghosts. It makes sense that no one can really decide on what they are considering nobody can actually prove that they exist. There are many "first hand" reports online detailing supposed encounters with the Black-Eyed Children, but as with most things, you can't believe everything you read online.
