Lucid Dreaming

A lucid dream is a dream in which the person dreaming is actually aware that they are dreaming allowing the dreamer to control what they do in their dreams.  A few things you can do to increase your chances of lucid dreaming you can do a number of things for example writing down your dreams in the morning, and napping can also increase your chances ultimately because lucid dreams are more common during naps. Waking up in the middle of the night and then going back to sleep can definitely increase the chances and thinking about a certain dream or fantasy you would like to have right before you go to sleep can help you lucid dream about the scenario you want to have

  1. I've actually attempted to train myself how to lucid dream. Yeah....its not as easy as you'd think. It takes a lot of concentration of trying NOT to be controlled by your own dreaming when you're the one trying to control it. I eventually gave up but I've heard of people who've trained for years and finally accomplished it!

  2. If I can learn to teach myself to lucid dream I would probably never want to wake up again. Much like the reality Neo goes back to after he learns he can control the Matrix... why would you ever want to leave!

  3. I would love to be able to experience a lucid dream. My dreams are so weird and I'd love to be able to make sense of them or to control them, but I definitely don't have the patience to learn how. Apparently it's a really complicated process.
