The Illuminati

The Illuminati is a very touchy subject.  There are split opinions on the validity of the “secret society.”  The origin of the Illuminati dates back to the 1760s when a man named Adam Weishaupt defected from the Catholic church and organized the Illuminati, financed by the International Bankers.  The Illuminati’s top goal has been to achieve a “one world government”, called the New World Order, and eliminate all other religions and governments. They also claim that all wars since the French Revolution have been them in pursuit of their goals. Allegedly Weishaupt wrote a master plan outlining their goals and finished writing this on May 1, 1776.  The Illuminati claims that this day is still celebrated in the form of May Day.  Although some claim this society died there are some who still believe the group still exists.  The Illuminati is made up of the political and financial elite, as well as, entertainers.  They apparently are Satanists who sold their soul to the devil for wealth and fame.  Although the validity of this group is in question the topic constantly stirs up debates between the two sides.
