Paranormal experiences and the great skeptic.

The term paranormal designates experiences that lie outside "the range of normal experience or scientific explanation or that indicates phenomena understood to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure. Some examples of paranormal activity would be seeing ghosts, extra terrestrial life, etc.

There are many personal claims of paranormal sightings and experiences, and many different shows which show what looks to be paranormal activity, but there is no actual scientific explanation or proof that these paranormal experiences are in fact taking place.

The Randi $1,000,000 challenge was created by James Randi who is a skeptic when it comes to paranormal activity, among other things. James Randi says that he will offer a one-million dollar prize to “anyone who can show, under proper observing conditions, evidence of any paranormal, supernatural, or occult power.”  He has many different rules for these paranormal and supernatural powers to ensure that no one could fake these experiences.
